Last month on my trip to Bali. I was soo fortunate to meet some of the most incredible people, I am now blessed to call good friends :) Photographer Fiorenzo Nisi and unbelievably gorgeous model, Diana Rose.
Here is how our adventure began...
We met at the opening of the W Hotel Bali through mutual friends. Fio asked me to style a shoot he was doing with items from Bubululu Malibu for his exhibit. Styling is one of my main passions, I of course said yes. Fio checked out our Bubululu Malibu website and noticed I was the model for our brand, he asked if I would model and style the shoot... Well you know my answer to that- Yes, of course! :)
A few days later we hopped on a boat and went to an island off Bali called Gili, to start our three day shoot. Over these three days we shared many great laughs and told many personal stories, it brought us closer together. We ate delicious food, incredible chocolate cake, saw gorgeous sunsets and boogied down at the wild mushroom bar (with people from all walks of life).
I want to thank Fiorenzo for bringing me along, introducing me to gorgeous Model Diana Rose, shooting Bubululu Malibu, and treating us to a beautiful weekend of indulgences. 'Photografio' is the newest hottest photo studio in Bali. It focuses on: lifestyle, fashion, video for advertising, editorial and online purposes. Fiorenzo Nisi, the man behind the lens, has passion and love for photography. He’s gain this passion and love from 30 years working in many spheres of communications. His uniqueness as a photographer is supported by his depth of experience in the moving image as well as a genuine understanding of the commerciality photography.
For 10 years Fio worked in Italy as an Advertising Sales Executive, many titles including: Uomo Vogue, Grazia and Marie Claire. He was exposed to the biggest fashion and luxury brand accounts. Interacting closely with the top Fashion Editors and Magazine Directors of the time.
In the 90's Fio moved to the United States where he worked as a Producer and Photo Agent. Here he worked closely, mentored and was influenced by major fashion and advertising photography talents. Some of which include Patric Dermachellier, Ellen Von Unverth and Andrew MacPerson. Working with these artists, he produced global advertising campaigns, music videos, endless editorial and magazine covers for Joop, Paciotti, Marlboro, and many more. Inspired by this wealth of talent in New York, he studied cinematography at the School of Visual Arts. He specialized in film-making and shot several videos and documentaries.
Fio made his move to Bali in 2001, where he expanded his creative repertoire into fashion, designing, manufacturing and shooting clothing ranges. He worked for Alberta Ferreti, Blumarine, Pinko and many other renowned fashion brands. During this period he further his video and photography skills, shooting for local brands, villas, parties and media.
Now Fio has decided to combine his years of experience to provide an unparalleled photography service in Bali. Through his new photo studio, he aims to truly capture light, color and the beauty in any moment through his work. Showcasing people, landscape and life with the vibrant, joyful energy of the Island of the Gods.
